It was a special event for us today in the Arabic week to witness that the Arabs students went to teach the Non-Arabs classes. The Non-Arabs have shown enthusiasm and interaction with their Arabs colleagues. Self- learning was evident in the classroom through the students’ self- dependence to get information and evaluate each other. That supported the vision of learner-centeredness. The students teaching their peers have shown the ability to lead the lesson and inspire their Non-Arabs colleagues to lead the lesson themselves. Non- Arabs have shown the positive participation through leading the discussions. Students leading the lesson supported the future vision to be leaders
The awesome students of the Arabs in primary that show the privilege in the Arabic competition touch us. We are mesmerized by their ability to read fluently, competently, and confidently. They show the pleasure because of the competitiveness created among them. All of them try their best and show the best.
All of them were winners because they knew the points the need to improve and support It was a great and enjoyable experience for the students through the Book Fair in which they participated. The students could explore many Arabic books and stories that could develop the extended reading skill. That experience makes the students self-dependent and explorer for more and more situations linked to a real world. This experience comes up in a line with SHAIKH MOHAMMED BIN RASHID’S vision of his interest in reading. The students were motivated and guided to develop and widen their Arabic outcome through choosing the Arabic books appropriate to their intellectual and emotional growth.
It gives an immense pleasure to share with you that we had organized an Islamic competition of the Holy Quran for the classes from grade 1 to grade 12 for both Arabs and Non-Arabs on 8 June 2018. Sheikh / Ashraf Tony Abdul-Aziz, a member of the Islamic Affairs Agency in Dubai, judged the competition, I can say that the students had shown enthusiasm and the spirit of the competitiveness was dominant throughout the competition. The parents also were so glad to see their children interacting and as real competitors. At the end of the completion, the winners were honoured and awarded. The competition was successful thanks to all the support received from all the staff and the supervisors, so I would like to take the opportunity to wholeheartedly thank and appreciate all the kinds of effort we got from everyone to make our event successful
Arabic and Islamic Dept. created a simulation of the pilgrimage of how to perform the rituals of Hajj. The students experienced the rituals which was motivating and enjoyable for both Muslims and Non-Muslims who saw a live scene of pilgrims doing circumambulation and pursuit around the Ka’ba (the Holy House of God ).This real experience gave detailed information about the pilgrimage. All students and staff witnessed the simulation while they crossed each corridor of the school . It was a very enlightening and fruitful experience for all.
It gives me an immense pleasure to share with you that we had organized and executed successfully an Arabic week programme for all grades, from grade 1 to grade 12, for both Arabs and Non- Arabs. It was a successful week to enable the students to develop their language skills and evaluate their own and others’ contributions through a range of drama activities. The students had shown enthusiastically the privilege in a variety of competitions and role-plays organized by the staff. Furthermore, the parents happily shared with us today and they were so energetic, enthusiastic and reflective participants through the activities organized by the staff and they wholeheartedly enjoyed the Arabic food competition and they appreciated the well-prepared activities . I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart everyone participated in making our Arabic week successful and innovative.
